The most important decisions to make in choosing a pet door are the size of the opening for your pet ('flap dimension') and the 'rise' or height of the pet door above the ground level.
Follow our guidelines and the Pet Door Insert selection is easy:
WIDTH SELECTION— Open your Sliding Glass Door to the width of the flap size you are considering. Get your pet to pass through the gap. Whichever width size you select, ensure that your pet can pass through comfortably.
HEIGHT SELECTION- Measure your pet from the floor to just comfortably above the top of its shoulder. Don’t measure to the top of your pet’s head. All pets normally duck their heads when passing through a pet door and pick their paws up.

Height refers to the height from the floor to the top of the flap (hinge).

Raise is height from the floor to the bottom of the flap.

Flap Width refers to width accross the flap

Height alteration - for Small Sizes (1.8 - 2.0 meters) or Large Sizes (2.1 - 2.5 meters) additional cost is $100.

Colour alteration - for colors other than black, white or primrose additional cost is $150.
