Whether your sliding door is a standard height or custom height - with Patio Link Pet Doors - at any time you can custimise the height you require with a window extenison.
What size pet door should I choose?
If you are unsure what is the best size for your doggie, you can do a test at home prior purchase - simply open your sliding door to the width of the flap and then measure flap height from bottom inside of the track up and hold a piece of cardboard at the top where flap height is. Then let your doggie go through the opening. This will give you a good idea what is the most comfortable size.
Make sure their backs are going through nice and straight without having to bend down.

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR SLIDING DOOR?
Your FIRST STEP is to measure your Glass Sliding Door Height
- VERY IMPORTANT!
Please measure your Glass Sliding Door height from inside bottom channel to the top inside channel. Our standard height pet door inserts fit height between 2.0-2.1m tall and inserts are available online for purchase or at selected pet stores.
If your door is taller than 2.1m, please contact us for a custom height quote today.
LOCKING & SECURITY
Lock your glass and fly screen/security door securely with your pet door insert installed. You can choose one of two options below:
LOCKING BRACKET - FREE with Patio Link pet door insert purchase!
Locking bracket allows you to lock your GLASS Sliding Door ONLY.
Simply install a locking bracket to your pet door insert, transfer your current female lock onto the locking bracket and securely lock your glass sliding door. Very easy to install!
ADAPTOR
Adaptor allows you to lock BOTH GLASS and SECURITY FLY SCREEN DOORS.
An adaptor is a long skinny panel that gets installed next to pet door insert. Once adaptor is installed, it allows you to lock both fly screen and glass sliding doors. This is excellent feature to have especially in warm summer days, you can lock your screen door, enjoy breeze coming inside your home and keep unwanted bugs outside!
